The site is very near the Big Bend Ranch State Park entrance and near La Junta, one of the most culturally significant regions in the southwestern US. You will find improvements including a Pilot Rock 32” fire ring with cooking grate, 12x12 shade structure over a 6’ Pilot Rock Aluminum Picnic table, as well as a graded area to place your tent. You are in the midst of a property that spans 3.5 miles from the Rio Grande across Alamito Creek and then across Casa Piedra. The roads are improved and accessible by sedan, if driven with discretion.
