Amazing stay while in the Big Bend State Park area. Rugged and remote, yet safe, luxurious, and close enough to a little town if you need a meal or groceries. The house has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Probably the most comfortable bed of any AirBnB I e ever slept in. Lauren was a great host - always a quick message away with answers to our questions.

This place is perfect! Great location next to Presidio and nearby stores. The scenery is breathtaking. Plus all the cupboards were fully stocked with nice dishwater and food items. Overall I give the place 5 stars!

Second stay — and everything is as excellent as it was the first time we we were there. It feels like a privilege to get to see the photo-worthy views of the Rio Grande. Seriously, you cannot miss La Centinela if you love the Big Bend as much as we do!

On top of the views, the atmosphere and the overall beauty of the house and property, it’s just so wonderful to have a refuge in the desert, during your stay. La Centinela is always perfectly clean. The beds are comfortable! The showers are hot and the water is plentiful. Lauren, your host, is great, very accommodating and always easy to communicate with.

You must not miss out on a stay at La Centinela.
